Meet the Team

  • April Inabinet is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of specialized experience in endocrinology and cardiology. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina.

    April has dedicated a significant portion of her career to endocrine-focused care. Her extensive background includes over a decade at Laurel Endocrine and Thyroid Specialists, where she specialized in diabetes management and complex chronic illnesses. Most recently, at Carolina Cardiology and Vascular Associates, she managed endocrine disorders such as type 1 and type 2 diabetes, hyper/hypothyroidism, and oversaw advanced therapies including insulin pumps and basal/bolus insulin regimens.

    In addition to her clinical practice, April holds the distinction of being a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that supports the total well-being of her patients.


  • Shannon is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a progressive career in direct patient care and coordination. She brings specialized experience in diabetes and nutrition education, as well as insulin medication assistance, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support for their conditions.

    Before joining the team, Shannon served as a Registered Nurse Supervisor and has a background in cardiology and inpatient dialysis. She is passionate about advocating for her patients and developing strong relationships through empathetic communication. Shannon holds a nursing degree from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Charleston Southern University.

  • Kimberly Harrell serves as a key point of contact for our practice, bringing high energy and a commitment to patient satisfaction. A Cum Laude graduate of Clemson University, Kimberly leverages a diverse professional background to ensure our office runs smoothly.

    Her experience spans over a decade in education and corporate account management, where she developed strong organizational skills and the ability to optimize efficiency in complex tasks. Prior to joining our team, Kimberly served as an Academic Counselor and International Student Coordinator, roles that required managing detailed plans and providing support to families. She also possesses a strong technical background from her time as a Senior Account Manager and Sales Engineer for software companies, making her proficient in various administrative technologies.

    Kimberly is dedicated to gaining the trust and respect of everyone she works with. Outside the office, she is deeply involved in the community, volunteering with Meals on Wheels and Backpack Blessings
